It's been a long day at the office. . .

I would really LOVE to go home and relax in the tub with a glass of wine, some candles, you get the picture. If only my bathroom looked like this. . .

. . . and if only I didn't have five trillion things to do when I get home in order to get ready for Halloween weekend! Oh well, relaxing will have to wait until I can find the time! (Whenever that will be?!)

This Week's Favorites

I try not to post stuff too often that I find on other blogs (especially the more popular, frequently read ones) but this week I stumbled upon two posts that I have to share with you (in case you missed out on them and because they are both so different but such great examples of beautiful design!)

The first is from Chinoiserie Chic, a lovely blog dedicated to all things Chinoiserie of course. This dining room didn't immediately have me at hello, but after a few glimpses at the details, I was hooked! I think it is absolutely stunning! Here's a quick peak, but for more information on this breath taking room head over to the post on Chinoiserie Chic's blog.

My other favorite blog post this week was from Desire to Inspire (one of my favorites!) and it features a beautiful ocean front villa designed by Kara Mann. Head over to Desire to Inspire to check out all the amazing photos of this dream home! Here'a a quick peak;

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

I got home yesterday evening and found the new CB2 Holiday catalog in my mailbox. I thought the cover was super cute how it showcased all the new holiday items formed to create the shape of Christmas Tree. Then I had to pause a second while reality sank in and I realized WOW, Christmas will be here before we know it!!! I'm not too interested in the holiday decor they have available (I went a little overboard last year with buying Christmas stuff) but here's a few items that I am loving;

Sugar and spice and everything nice. . .

Decorating a girl's bedroom is great fun! It's a place where she can daydream, play games, imagine, study, play with dolls, sleep, put on some makeup and dream of a date with Prince Charming. A girl’s room is a special place that should be all hers. Here are a few of my favorites;
